The Chinese have 1 billion population 700 Legislatures. We have 70 million population and 1481 Legislatures.
Do we need or can we afford them?

The Upper Chamber (ie the Lords) could be reduced from 781. To 350.
The Lower House (ie the Commons) could be reduced from 650. To 400.
Make the House of Lords fully electable.
And no patronage to the Upper Chamber.
