Rejected petition Stop the prosecutions of UK soldiers who served in Northern Ireland.
Rejected on
It is obscene for the UK government to allow the prosecution of former and serving members of the Armed Forces for actions taken in times of conflict. Armed forces personnel should be exempt from prosecution when following legitimate orders from commanding officers or Secretaries of State.
