Rejected petition It's time for unity! In these serious economic times we should have a government of national unity.

Our economic situation is dire. It's potentially as damaging to our immediate futures as the great wars.
if we don't sort it out now, the legacy of our actions today will fall on the heads of our children and grandchildren.
We are calling on the Government (and all the political parties) to, temporarily, put political and class differences aside and form a Government for National Unity. This government should have a very specific life-span and objectives. We should then return to our established constitution.
