Petition Reform the Road Tax (VED) system to allow partial month payment and refunds.

Basically the government is getting paid twice.The current system does not allow road tax to be transferred with the vehicle at the point of sale. The seller is only refunded for any WHOLE months they have already paid for. The buyer has to pay for the entire month of which the vehicle was purchased

The buyer has to pay for the entire month of which the vehicle was purchased, even if they buy the car with only a few days to go until a new month. This often means that a full month of tax is paid twice on vehicles being sold, one by the seller then again by the buyer.
