This petition was submitted during the 2017-2019 parliament
Rejected petition Give Fathers In the UK equal parenting rights to Mothers.
Successive governments have continually refused to give the 50,000 families in Fathers4Justice a voice by denying us any representation whatsoever. In fact, the last Justice Committee hearing in 2012 didn’t hear oral testimony from a single father.

Why was this petition rejected?
It’s not clear what the petition is asking the UK Government or Parliament to do.
We can't accept your petition because we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do. For example, you could start a new petition calling for automatic shared custody of children for fathers, if that's what you'd like to happen.
We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
