Many rural areas, towns and villages do not have a strategy for opening more public rights of way. Landowners, (maybe with incentives), could open edges of fields to the public especially when linking villages today or for creating circular routes.

Where I live in Caistor, the bridleway suddenly ends at a minor main road. Another village of Cabourne is around about 2 miles away. Edge of a field full route and natural flow to create a fantastic circular walk... This area has a lot of walkers and runners on Lincolnshire Wolds.
