Rejected petition Force leader of the House of Commons to resign after anti LGBT comments

The leader of the House of Commons made comments arguing that parents should be able to remove children from LGBT education in schools. This petition was rejected

Why was this petition rejected?

It’s about something that the UK Government or Parliament is not directly responsible for.

The resignation of a Minister would be an individual decision for that person, and not a decision for the Government or Parliament as a whole.

We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
