This petition was submitted during the 2010-2015 parliament
Petition Force the UK Government to cease the Happiness Survey which is costing £2m per year
More details
One year on, this survey carried out by the National Office of Statistics has cost UK Citizens £2m to date to learn nothing more than MPs should know about the people who have voted for them. All this survey seeks to do is highlight how the Government is largely out of touch with their public they serve. Stop the Government wasting money on unnecessary surveys and statistical analysis that serves no purpose when forming policy.
