I’m a 19 year old who earns £3.90 an hour in my apprentice this pay is hard but what makes it harder is paying for prescriptions, dentist trips and eye tests when on less than minimum wage. Myself and other apprentices are refusing prescriptions we need because we can’t afford them. We need support.
We want to claim for free NHS dentist, eye tests and prescriptions until the pay we’re on increases to minimum wage.
