Minors are often allowed to "get away" with causing criminal damage because they are below the age of criminal responsibility which leaves the victim out of pocket for doing nothing wrong. Parents have a responsibility to make their children goto school and can be imprisoned if the child does not attend. I believe parents should also be responsible for any criminal damage their children cause and should have to pay for the damage themselves by law.
