The British People are sovereign. Parliament serves the people. Parliament is instructed by way of the 2016 referendum to leave the EU. There is no provision in our constitution for parliament's will to override the people's will. Parliamentary sovereignty is constrained by the people's sovereignty.

PROCLAMATION
We the people do hereby declare that in the event that parliament attempts to negate the 2016 referendum result, by imposing parliament's will over the people's will, we rescind our consent to being governed by parliament at Westminster and hereby revoke all authority to govern us. The recognised orthodoxy is that we are governed by consent, not by Diktat. If Parliament attempts to thwart the will of the people, the people have a right to thwart the authority of parliament.
