Rejected petition Freeze MPs salaries who resign from their party until new by-elections are held
MPs are elected on a manifesto. When they quit their party they're going against their manifesto therefore they no longer represent their party or the people who voted them into office. If you don't represent your party or your constituents why should they be paid?
