Rejected petition Make MPs telling lies a criminal offence.

Given the massive negative consequences resulting from the Brexit referendum when lies were clearly in evidence it would be enormously beneficial to know that MPs can only tell the truth. Being an MP is a huge privilege and responsibility and they should not be permitted to lie with impunity.
