Rejected petition stop firms/agencies automated & cold phone calls!!

I am tired and fed up of answering automated messages and companies phoning trying to sell their products and services. I have not requested their intrusions and i want the Govt. to outlaw this type of infringement into my private life whether thro my landline or mobile.
