Rejected petition Suspend Brunei from the Commonwealth until it removes barbaric homophobic law
Brunei - Commonwealth member since 1984 - already criminalising gay people, has introduced the death penalty for consenting homosexuality. This is in clear breach of the Commonwealth charter. This requires unequivocal condemnation, and a clear signal that persecution cannot be tolerated.
