Rejected petition Give children back their free school lunches

The government has removed free school lunches during a time when many people are struggling. For some children this was their only decent meal a day. MPs said we are all in it together yet the poorest most vulnerable children in society are having their lunches removed. How is this fair?

I would like to ask that members give up their monthly food allowance (as with your new salary increases you won’t need it!) to put this money back in the pot for the children! Only the greediest in society would use money they don’t need and take money away from those who do!
