Petition Allow courts to find executors who fail to perform their duties in contempt

If an executor is not willing to perform their duties and does not carry out the deceased’s instructions in their Will, a court should be able to find them in contempt.

Otherwise, solicitors’ hands will be tied because of it is considered a purely civil matter and just becomes a money-eating time-wasting matter as executors can block legal attempts to make them act.
