Rejected petition Report any car or non-commercial vehicle for exhaust pollution.

There are many times I've had to dive in someone's driveway to avoid black smoke coming from a car or van. I have seen people surrounded by black smoke standing at pedestrian crossings in our local village.

I have tried reporting this to the police, DVLA and DVSA and local council but they all say it will be picked up at the next MOT, only lorries and buses can be made to immediately sort the problem out.. In the meantime these vehicles are driving around for months causing pollution.
