Petition Withhold aid to nations in which Christians are persecuted
Jeremy Hunt recently stated "It is absolutely essential that we make it clear to the government in those countries [that persecute Christians] that we are expecting progress on freedom of religious belief.”
More details
In recent years the UK has failed to do enough to support persecuted Christians abroad, to protect converts to Christianity in the UK, to welcome Christian refugees to our country, and to uphold the right of Christians in the UK to state the core beliefs of their faith without fear of harassment by the authorities. This proposal would be a strong show of solidarity with Christians overseas, and show that the UK truly cares about people of all faiths, wherever they are located.
