informal carers often care for a relative or friend for over 50 hours a week and yet the only receive around £50 per week. this is not good enough and it is time it changed!! informal carers save the government millions of pounds every year by keeping there loved ones at home!! what would the government do if they chose not to do this caring role any longer?? carers allowance rates are just not enough!! carers deserve a proper and fair wage and the time is now!!
