Petition Metal theft and endangering life and society

The theft of metal is increasing and in many cases is causing or has the accumalive effect of causing injury.
The theft of certain metals, lets say cableing from railways, is also causing problems in general society.

Those who commit metal theft should not only be charged with stealing the metal but also with an acccompanying charge to reflect the consequence of the first offence. For instance those who put life in danger by stealing cableing should be charged with endangerng life. Those who cause hospitals to cancel operations could be charged with wasting public money.

Those who buy the metal should also be charged not only with receiving stolen property but with the accompanying charge
