Rejected petition A formal apology from David Lammy MP after comparing the ERG to Nazis.
Lammy has for several months now compared those that want to deliver on the result of the referendum in June 2016 as Nazis.
When a member of the public referred to Anna Soubry as a Nazi, a formal arrest was conducted. Lammy must accept the responsibility of this actions and apologise to the ERG.
More details
If a subsequent apology isn’t made, Lammy should be deselected as an MP for the offence caused. As a democratically elected member of Parliament, his choice of words should be challenged on every account. Not only were these comments an offence to the ERG, but his choice of words has caused serious offence to those that lived and died under Nazi dictatorship and rule.
