Breast cancer can spread in two ways, through your lymphnodes or a blood vessel. Mine spread through a blood vessel and that meant I wasn't offered a full body scan. A scan could have caught it before it spread.

My cancer was initially discovered in my breast and my tumour had created its own blood vessel. 6 months later it was discovered in my liver. If I had been offered a full body scan at diagnosis, it would have been much easier to treat and would have saved the NHS a lot of money. I now have scans every 3 months.
