This petition was submitted during the 2017-2019 parliament
Petition Require polling stations to be fully accessible to all.
People should have the right to vote in person. If they choose to go to a polling station to vote, they must be able to access the polling station. Accessibility must also include urgent work to speedily improve voting procedures for the visually impaired.
More details
Locally some polling stations were up steep hills, some had steps and most had no available parking so many disabled people who choose to vote in person had difficulty accessing them.
