Petition Introduce an opt out environmental tax of 1p in the UK to prevent climate change
The Earth is on the verge of permanent irreversible climate change. Recent scientific evidence suggests, we have 12 years to stop temperatures rising by more than 1.5°C.
The opt out environmental tax of 1p could raise an estimated £6bn which can be used to solely fund climate research/action.
More details
People need to realise the need for effective action against the current rise in global temperatures for a sustainable world. This 1p tax will not burn a hole in anyone's pocket, it will however fund the action to save our planet. See links below to find out more. 1p per person does nothing, 1p from everybody does wonders.
