Bearing in mind the recently released statistics in relation to the demographic of individuals that were actively involved in the August 2011 riots, it is now imperative on the government to launch an inquiry into the root causes.

An inquiry will inform what action to take on the obvious social deprivation issues that appear to be part of the cause of the riots.
