There is currently no-one to complain to or investigate the care a vet gives a pet, they are not thoroughly regulated and many pet owners are left with massive vets bills they cannot afford and many have to have their pet put to sleep as they cannot afford the care. There should be a regulatory body and ombudsman to investigate complaints against vets and the service they provide.
