This petition asks the government to bring in legislation to ensure that any purchase of financial instruments such as:
Stocks, Shares, Bonds or similar mechanisms for buying into the wealth of public and private companies, governments or local authorities
should be held for a minimum period of one month, as this would be a mechanism for avoiding unnecessary attempts to make short term gains and avoid the problems associated with short-selling, as well as providing stability to the markets.
