Pulmonary Rehabilitation PR is exercise & education for lung illness. The majority of physiotherapists, junior doctors & nurses are not taught about this from medical school curriculums.PR if completed can reduce the amount of time patients spend in a hospital bed from 9.6 days to 4.6 days

Pulmonary rehabilitation is in the NHS long term plan.
The Royal College of Physicians 2018 audit contains information about the length of hospital time that patients with lung illness spend in hospital if they complete pulmonary rehabilitation.
