Rejected petition Change in governing party leader, i.e. PM should trigger a general election

If a political party in government changes its leader, therefore changing the prime minister, then a general election should be triggered. It is undemocratic for the country to be led by a leader that is selected by only 100,000 people, and not by the total population.
