The popular British actress of stage and screen Anita Dobson who is due to celebrate her 40th year in Show-Business in 2012 has never received a major award for her services as an actress in all of this time. Anita has appeared in many theatre productions ranging from Shakespeare,drama, musicals including the lead in "Hello, Dolly", countless pantomimes and comedy where she has received excellent reviews and nominated for an Olivier award in the play "Frozen" Her many television credits include playing Angie Watts in EastEnders, many other TV characters and more recently one of the highly popular contestants of the 2011 BBC1 programme Strictly Come Dancing. To date, in all of her 40 years in the business, Anita has not been out of work once, so she has really contributed to the entertainment industry.
