Closed Change the UK tax year to 1st Jan. - 31st Dec.

The UK has a ridiculous tax year which runs from the 6th April until the 5th April of the following year. There is no benefit to this and it simply complicates the issue when referring to a particular tax year. Making the tax year equivalent to the calendar year is simple common sense.
