The Balfour Centre is a day care service for people with physical disabilities; the centre is situated in the heart of the Medway Towns and has been active for some 44 years. The centre is unique in the services it provides, It provides a true training environment to young adults from schools colleges and universities, supervised by experienced staff, It provides meeting rooms to charities, It provides a food service to another unit that cares for individuals with profound and multiple disabilities, It acts as a reporting monitoring service for care managers protecting individuals at risk, It provides life skills training to enable individuals to live independently, It runs exercise programmes to help people to remain as fit as possible for as long as possible and so minimising costs to the NHS. It provides an environment for service users to socialise with others who have shared experiences. Help us save the Balfour Centre for the next generation. Please sign the online petition.
