Closed Allow individuals on tier 5 C+S visas (Coach only) to play in amateur leagues.

Ayr CC employ a former West Indies Test player as a coach/pro. His effect in the last 2 years on junior participation has been huge. This year thanks to a Home Office ruling he cannot play league or cup cricket. If this situation persists we risk losing coaches and young players.

Many clubs throughout UK will be impacted by this- development plans and junior participation is at risk if clubs are forced to choose between employing a coach or a player. A wealth of international talent (and the traditional club pro position) is at risk of being lost.
