Have party leaders elected to their party by the people and not by conservative or labour MPs, have them elected as if it were a general election, since the 2-party voting system in this country is broken, the solution would be for the people to decide who the true labour or conservative leader should be. This is the reason why policies don't change in this country and why the status quo remains.
