Rejected petition Give the students of Appleton academy the right to wear skirts if they choose.

No consultation was offered and despite telling the local papers that the parents and students were all supportive of the decision, the truth was the majority of the parents, pupils and staff were completely unaware, and it was only because it was mentioned in the newsletter sent home to the primary students that the plans were revealed.
