Recent TV programs have made the public aware of the reasons why China banned the import of waste from the UK.
Illegal dump sites and burning of plastic waste.
Biffa is a company that seemingly is still doing this.

UK councils have refused to create their own plastic waste processing plants and have chosen to export their plastic waste problems.
As a civilised country we should NOT shove our plastic waste / problems onto less developed countries and then blame them when OUR plastic waste pollutes the oceans.
