I propose that we should alllow car drivers with a minimum amount of experience of say 5 years should be allowed to drive vehicles upto but not including 7.5t.

There are many vans etc that are 3.5t that can also carry heavier weights using the same bodyshell but with uprated suspension. For instance a Mercedes Sprinter 311 can be driven on a B license yet a 411 virtually the same van needs a C1 license.

So Drivers should be able to drive vans upto 7.49t
