At present, subtitled cinema screenings in the UK are few and far between, and rarely on weekends. Technology is available to allow subtitles to be provided to every film showing, without affecting the experience for other users. We would like this technology to be mandatory in every UK cinema

Technology available includes the Dolby Captiview system, compatible with all Dolby Digital cinema equipment. This is a personal device that fits into the cup holder of the seat allowing an individual to enjoy the film with subtitles without affecting the experience for others.
