I call upon the government to carry out a full investigation into the benefits of re-opening the currently disused & closed branch railway line between the two Cambridgshire towns of Wisbech and March. Closed to passengers in 1968 & freight closure in 2001, the town of Wisbech - with a population +20,200 (increasing every year) and with a large catchment area, has suffered badly since the railway was closed to passengers in 1968.
