Rejected petition Bring MP's annual leave entitlement in line with the rest of UK society.
Members of Parliament currently have several recesses (holidays)throughout the year.
They broadly mirror school holidays in England & Wales.
Meanwhile the normal full time UK worker is entitled to 5.6 weeks paid annual leave. (pro rata if they're part time.)
This is not representative.

This petition was rejected
Why was this petition rejected?
It’s not clear what the petition is asking the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you're concerned about the number of sitting days in Parliament, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. MPs as office holders are not entitled to annual leave, and whilst the House of Commons is not sitting they carry out out other duties, such as constituency work,
We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
