Rejected petition Supermarket to introduce Plastic and Glass Bottle deposit scheme in all stores

Over the past year there has been a momentum for us all to recycle.
However some help is still required.

How many of you remember the glass bottle deposit system that stopped over 30 years ago?

This system will actively encourage all to recycle. It is a system that works in other countries

Over the past three years my family & I have visited three countries that all have deposit systems Sweden, Denmark and Germany all have bottle deposit systems.

We used the system for my daughter to have extra spends whilst away. We witnessed families returning bottles and then using the money for shopping.

UK Government need to pile on the pressure to all supermarkets to install deposit machine for all bottles; not just own brand labels like Tesco.
