Closed Remove CCJ record if paid in full and satisfied

CCJ are recorded on your credit report for 6 years. Right now you can pay a CCJ in full before 30 days, it will be removed. After 30 days it will be marked as "Satisfied" but will remain on your credit report. This makes little to no difference if not paid in full.

Got CCJ after being made homeless a few years ago and I didn't receive the letters for debts I had built up. After getting back on my feet, I paid off all my debts & paid my CCJ's in thinking that this will be good for my credit as they will now be Satisfied. Fast forward and trying to get another place to rent has become impossible as I will need a guarantor that earns £40k per year.
