Petition Limit speeds near schools to 20mph nationwide.
Local authorities should be required by law to set a 20 mph zone near schools. My daughter was injured by a car whilst walking to school as the police judged the car was not travelling above 30mph the driver was not prosecuted.
More details
Fewer children would be killed and injured and more children would walk to school if speed limits were reduced to 20 mph near schools.
