Rejected petition Save Something For The Weekend

More details

Why how can the BBC decide to axe a programme that is informative, current, family viewing and fun. Just to be replaced with repeats that no one wants. We pay a licence fee to be able to watch new innotave and covers all age groups.
Why let the BBC be run by accounts, let the licence payers have there say.

This petition was rejected

Why was this petition rejected?

It’s about something that the UK Government or Parliament is not directly responsible for.

This is a matter for the BBC. It is a long-standing principle that the Government does not interfere in programme matters, either on arrangements for scheduling or on content

We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
