Petition Introduce reforms in all prisons to make them safer environments

Treat a prisoner like an animal they will come out into society and behave like one. All prisons should have:
- increased support for inmates mental health and substance abuse issues and much more focus on staff training in these issues and mentoring inmates; and:

- daily group or community meetings
- community activities to promote skill development and generalisation, e.g. work assignments, delegated responsibilities, organising events, involvement in prisoner/staff committees
- staff supporting the community in democratic decision-making and providing pro social role models
