Petition Use UK domestic waste as refuse-derived fuel instead of sending it to landfill

The UK sends 3.5 million tonnes of waste to the EU to be recycled or used as RDF. A no deal Brexit could prevent this transfer of waste, meaning more of it going to landfill, harming the environment. Local councils will also struggle. The UK should deal with its own waste by building RDF plants.
