Rejected petition Spread the 6 week school holidays throughout the school year
Spreading the 6 week holidays over the school year. This would fundamentally help families with childcare, go on holiday in the school holidays and will also most importantly keep the childs mind more active. Having so much time out of school reduces their mental stimulation.

When children go back to school they are having revisit last years work in order to remember what has been taught. Parents are financially struggling to provide childcare and are relying on benefits to help! Family holidays are at ridiculous prices during the school holidays, taking children out of school could also dramatically reduce if weeks were spread.
