Petition Bank Holiday for Grandparents following the Diamond Jubilee

I would like the government to establish a new 'Grandparents Day' on the first Sunday in June with a bank holiday the next day with effect from 2013.

I believe this would a) encourage us all to celebrate our grandparents / older people and their value in our lives b) be a lasting testament to Queen Elizabeth ll c) be a bit of payback for the British public following the failure of at least 3 of the 4 estates in this country. It would encourage us all to keep to the mantra 'We Are All In This Together' Thank You
