Plastic ice-cream spoons should be banned as they can be replaced by wooden and metal ones. The government banned plastic straws so why not plastic ice cream spoons?

Plastic pollution is one of the biggest problems Planet Earth is facing. Plastic takes years to decompose so it ends up in the world's rivers and oceans. Wildlife then digests this plastic and this is fatal.
Banning unnecessary plastic use is the best way to solve this problem. Plastic ice cream spoons are unnecessary as they can be replaced with biodegradable wooden ones or reusable metal spoons. Banning plastic ice-cream spoons is a small step that can make a huge difference.
